| mix; prison break: peace beneath the city |
[May 28, 2009 | 2:19am] |
does anyone even watch prison break anymore? i know i hadn't watched any of this latest season-- i assumed it sucked since the third season was pretty bad. but i started watching the fourth season a day or two ago just to give it a shot, but here i am totally into it. again. i'm not as involved as i used to be, but my interest is broader. i no longer am dying for certain people to just get off the screen like i used to be. um.
anyway i was randomly like "o hay mix time" because that is my answer to everything these days, and came up with this. it's for season four. it's general.
also: it should be noted that i haven't done anything remotely involving photoshop in a really long time, except for the previous post here (but that barely counts). so i apologize for this "art" being godawful.
peace beneath the city here's a prayer for the bodies

| mix; welcome back to high school |
[May 26, 2009 | 1:10am] |
this one is epic.
high school of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and now. the suburbs that don't change, the soda fountains and the surfers, the hippies and punks and grunge kids. the high school of pastel colors and tree-lined suburban streets and worlds created in teenage bedrooms. posters on lockers and posters on wallpaper, music idols and pop idols, girl groups and boy groups, sunny days and rainy days, homework and skipping gym. nerds, cheerleaders, jocks, unrequited love. sesame street grown up, doodles and r-rated movies, making out in the hallway, smoking weed under the bleachers. tuning out mom and dad in the station wagon, lunch tables, sex ed. babysitters, the cute older brother, hairspray and halter tops. braces, stone foxes and curfew.
faking a sick day, deloreans, saturday afternoon detention, rich kids and poor kids and prom, sweet sixteen, hair grease, virgins and suicide, band camp and apple pie, boom boxes, getting a crush on your teacher.
parents just don't understand.
welcome back to high school the kids don't stand a chance
